Begin with an average-sized circle in the middle and a much bigger one that covers most of the space on the piece of paper (00 min 23 sec). Next, add three huge leaves at the very bottom of the foundation. That’s actually it for the first step in our how to draw a Sunflower tutorial. First of all, go over the small circle with dark strokes and make sure it’s not a smooth shape – try to make it more, let’s say, chaotic (01 min 02 sec). If you’re happy with what you’ve got so far, draw an even smaller circle in the middle and a series of tiny dots all over it (01 min 30 sec). Are you satisfied with the result? Good, then it’s time to get to the main part of the how to draw a Sunflower tutorial – the leaves (01 min 48 sec).

The next step is the bigger leaves that sit next to these ones (04 min 30 sec).
The concept is the same, only this time around, they are “hiding” behind the first line. Keep adding more and more leaves until you cover the whole circle like I did in the video.
