Before you learn how to draw A Musk Ox, did you know?

This mammal can be found in the Arctic and is also known as musk-ox or muskox. In order for them to be able to survive the harsh environment, Mother Nature gave them a very thick coat. Now, even though the Arctic is their home, there are some muskoxen in Siberia, Canada, and even in Alaska.

Both the males and the females feature long, strong horns. An average adult musk ox weighs 300 kilograms. Interesting fact: that thick coat can trick you into thinking that these animals are larger than they actually are. Say, the bison usually weighs 600 kilograms, which is twice as much, even though it doesn’t look that big because of the average thickness of the coat.
