How To Draw Angry Eyes

Learn How to Draw Angry Eyes Quickly & Easily!

Usually, it’s pretty tough to get angry eyes right. On the other hand, sad, happy and surprised ones are quite easy to create. And that is why in this tutorial, we’ll teach you how to draw angry eyes. Start with drawing two slightly overlapping circles (00 min 20 sec). Once they’re both in place, draw two curvy lines through each one of them exactly like we did in the video (00 min 42 sec).

And now it’s time to take care of the pupils (00 min 48 sec). There’s nothing to it: all you’ll ever need are three circles (none of which are full). The trick here is to get the proportions right and position them using the guides. The eyebrows are especially important in this composition as they’ll allow you to accentuate the whole angry idea (01 min 36 sec). Each eyebrow consists of two curvy shapes, nothing more.

Ok, that’s actually it for our how to draw angry eyes masterclass. As we just mentioned, the key is to find the perfect proportions of the various elements. If you make the pupils too big, you’ll lose the momentum. At the same time, you don’t wanna make them tiny, because that won’t do the trick either.

If you noticed, we didn’t use any guidelines this time around, which means there’s no point in using a marker to erase the light strokes (02 min 13 sec). Still, it would be a good idea to go over the drawing once again and fix the line and curves.

Some Things To Keep In Mind…

These tutorials are only here to guide you. Your drawing does not need to look "identical" to mine.

Start with rough but light pencil strokes that you can work into the shapes you want.

Once you have your rough drawing completed, go over it in a darker stroke for your final drawing.

Add shading and/or color to complete if desired.

Using this technique you will be able to draw anything after some practice... even without following step-by-step tutorials.
