Start with drawing a huge oval shape (it looks a lot like a dinosaur egg, actually) (00 min 21 sec). If it’s hard to get it one go, do as many tries as needed. Then, put a vertical curve in the middle (a bit to the right, actually) to serve as a guide later. These are the basics of our how to draw a guinea pig tutorial. What you should do next is arm yourself with regular strokes and put the nose in (00 min 40 sec).

If you’re happy with it, move on to the eyes (01 min 20 sec). The left eye is a lot bigger than the right one, and that is why we’ll deal with it first. Draw a round shape a little bit to the left of the guiding circle and fill it with the details. The right eye is about 1/3rd of the left one but you should place it on the same height (02 min 00 sec).

Start with rough but light pencil strokes that you can work into the shapes you want.

Once you have your rough drawing completed, go over it in a darker stroke for your final drawing.

Add shading and/or color to complete if desired.
