That tiny bit of hair on top of our goat’s head comes first (00 min 27 sec). Then, add the mighty horn on the right side (00 min 40 sec). The next step in this how to draw a Goat tutorial is the head itself. It’s pretty long and tilted to the side (and looks almost like a big rock). Once it’s in place, go ahead and add the ears (they are very primitive) and the left horn (01 min 10 sec). The nose comes next.

After you’re done with it, draw the tiny eyes (01 min 40 sec). That’s actually it for the face. Now we take care of the rest of the drawing. The stylish beard looks great, doesn’t it?  If you’re happy with it, use a long, curvy line for the back of the animal and the rear leg. It’s worth mentioning that all four legs look almost identical and are of the same size (02 min 12 sec). Keep that in mind while drawing them and don’t forget to make the legs and the lines between them extra fluffy.

The final thing you should do is go ahead and add those zigzaggy lines all over the body to emulate the fur (03 min 38 sec). There are many different breeds out there – 300+ – and the world is populated by 925 million goats! We drink their milk, eat their meat and use their skin to keep ourselves warm. In return, we protect them from the predators and provide a shelter.

Some Things To Keep In Mind…

These tutorials are only here to guide you. Your drawing does not need to look "identical" to mine.

Start with rough but light pencil strokes that you can work into the shapes you want.

Once you have your rough drawing completed, go over it in a darker stroke for your final drawing.

Add shading and/or color to complete if desired.

Using this technique you will be able to draw anything after some practice... even without following step-by-step tutorials.
