Learn How to Draw Grover from Sesame Street Quickly & Easily!
We start by drawing a couple of guidelines in light strokes that will help us later in the process (00 min 17 sec). Essentially, our rough guide consists of 3 curves. The first two sit on top of each other and look like something of an oval shape turned to the side. The rest is just two tiny lines connecting this shape to a lonely curve at the bottom. That’s the foundation for our how to draw Grover from Sesame Street tutorial.
The real work begins with the big, beautiful nose (00 min 50 sec). It should be located right at the bottom of the oval and in the middle of it. The eyes should “stick” to it nicely and even overlap a bit (01 min 00 sec). If you want your drawing to have some momentum, make the right eye a little bit bigger in size (01 min 20 sec). Two tiny dots inside is all you’ll need to create realistic cartoon eyes.
Once that part of the how to draw Grover from Sesame Street manual is over, take care of the hair on our hero’s head (01 min 37 sec). Yes, it should cover the head in its entirety and look as zigzaggy as possible. Don’t be too precise about it – a little bit of messiness will work. The huge mouth takes most of the space inside the curve at the bottom of our drawing (02 min 58 sec).
It’s a simple combination of two curvy lines – just like you see in my video. If you think that everything looks good, move on to the final step: the hair on the lower part of the head (03 min 19 sec). Don’t go yet: take some time to erase the guidelines with a marker (04 min 10 sec). And now we’re officially done with this how to draw Grover from Sesame Street tutorial!
